CALL OF DUTY 3 CONFIRMED

Infinity Ward pledges to continue battle on the WWII front, also revealing a new IP is on the cards

17:51 Call of Duty (PC) and Call of Duty 2 developer Infinity Ward has already revealed that a third title in the FPS series is planned, even though the second game has yet to storm retail.
Confirmation on Call of Duty 3 has come via Infinity's recruitment section on its website, where it's announced it's on the look out for a senior next-gen programmer to work not just on CoD 3 but also a new intellectual property.

Although the job links the sequel with next-gen consoles, a PC version will surely be developed as well.

No further details on Call of Duty 3 - or indeed Infinity's new IP - are available at this time, but we're guessing it may just feature WWII-based action.
