Some may be aware..lots not.... Hamish (and other peeps) do a great music show several times a week...lots of oldie stuff some new. The irc channel to connect to is #thepolarbears on Quakenet ...lots of intune chat and requests etc. Windows / Mac users d/l or and get listening. Linux - all players should work. |

LOL - idd Just as a side note might be worth asking H how many listeners he can handle at once - I'm all for a wider audience, but only if it doesn't prevent me listening Oh and it is #thepolarbears Luv Smudger |

Thanks for the ad pants (edited the typo in IRC channel name, ty SjF for spotting that) To answer Smudger - I can support an almost unlimited number of listeners by adjusting the quality - I have actually increased the capacity the last few shows because we were getting a bit full up and no-one said anything about poor sound quality (except when I am talking - eh, Gwain? ) so I wouldn't worry about capicity for the moment. There are other options besides direct hosting that I could look at in future as well but for now I am happy enough. Thanks for the offer of expanded hosting though, Kennie |
